RCexplained Calculator App

The RCexplained Calculator App brings the main RadioControlInfo and RCexplained tools into one organized calculator hub. Instead of hunting through old calculator pages, you can start from this app home page and jump directly to battery, charging, airplane, EDF, boat, car, float, and center of gravity tools.

What this calculator does

Each calculator is built for practical RC setup planning, not just generic math. The goal is to help you estimate the numbers that matter before buying parts, changing gearing, selecting a LiPo, choosing a prop, or testing a new setup. Use this page when you are not sure which tool you need yet. Pick the category that matches your model, open the calculator, enter your real setup values, and compare the result against your own wattmeter, charger, GPS, or data log results. Example: a pilot can start with the LiPo power calculator, move to the Airplane Power Calculator, then check CofG and float sizing from the same RCexplained tool area.

In practical terms: This hub organizes the RCexplained calculators by use case so battery, airplane, EDF, boat, car, and utility tools are easy to find.

How to use it

Choose a calculator from the sidebar or from the related tool cards, then enter your real RC setup values. The individual calculator pages include deeper explanations and examples.

Example calculation
