I recently had the chance to test the CNHL G Plus 5000mAh 4S 70C LiPo battery. This pack is one of the higher C rating batteries available, and I wanted to see how it performs under load, measure its internal resistance, and determine how it compares to other packs I’ve tested on the channel.
What Makes the CNHL G Plus Unique

The CNHL G Plus stands out because of its high capacity and consistent performance. It is rated at 5000mAh and 70C. These batteries are recommended for speed run setups, delivering high performance with minimal voltage drops. In testing, they maintained stability under a 105A load without overheating.
Internal Resistance Test
Internal resistance affects how efficiently a battery delivers power. The CNHL G Plus cells averaged 1.4 mΩ per cell. Using this value and the battery’s 5000mAh capacity, the calculated actual C rating came out to 29.9C. This gives a maximum continuous current of roughly 149 amps. These numbers show it can handle high-current loads reliably.

Dyno Performance Test
During my 105A load test, the CNHL G Plus pack delivered 4518mAh of usable capacity. The average cell wattage during discharge was 361W. The voltage held up well under continuous load, though it is slightly below the extremes of top-tier packs. The pack responded predictably to temperature gain, with minimal performance drops as the cells warmed up.

Practical Applications
This battery is well-suited for high-capacity RC cars, speed runs, and other high-performance applications. Its stable voltage and consistent performance make it reliable for competitive or hobbyist setups. The high capacity allows longer run times, while the low internal resistance ensures efficient energy delivery.
Final Thoughts
The CNHL G Plus 5000mAh 4S 70C LiPo performs consistently and delivers strong power for high-current RC applications. While it may not reach the absolute top-tier performance of some other batteries, it is a reliable choice with excellent value.
